Now more than ever, we need to let those affected by pregnancy and babyloss know they are not alone and that we are here to support them.
When I started this little business it was to celebrate women, babies and children with gifts to put a smile on their faces at a time when we can't necessarily be together. Then during lockdown my sister and her partner tragically lost their baby boy Seren during week 19 of pregnancy.
There really isn't a whole lot we can do when someone we love is experiencing this kind of grief but wanting to do something in Seren's memory, I spoke to my incredibly strong and amazing sister ahead of Baby Loss Awareness week about what she would have liked in a remembrance gift and together we came up with a selection of sweet items to include to commemorate those who gained their angel wings too early and to let that person we love know we care.
The effect of social distancing from Covid-19 has had a major impact on access to care and support for bereaved families who have experienced the loss of a baby or infant so proceeds from the sale of this baby loss gift box will go towards the SANDS charity who help support families during the hardest times of their lives.
With love and light.
